The Corporate Parenting Service works on ensuring young people have a Personal Education Plan and developing and disseminating information to all staff across learning and social care. We work on initiatives to raise attainment and support young people in school and also do research and data improvement.
Part of our role is advising children's homes, foster carers, social workers, designated teachers and pre-school practitioners. We listen to children and provide them with resources and rewards, we also promote multi disciplinary working through projects and support.
We produce county protocols for Looked After Children ensuring they are prioritised. Our service works on raising awareness about the life chances of Looked After Children.
